TASSIMO T65 Home Brewing System by Bosch (Review & Giveaway)

A Little Bit About The TASSIMO Home Brewing System by Bosch
TASSIMO is not just another coffee maker. It's a whole new way to prepare a variety of delicious hot drinks perfectly, in the comfort of your own home. And it's so simple. With the TASSIMO system and the TASSIMO Discs (T DISCs) you can make the hot drink you want, when you want it. No fuss. No bother.
It's truly amazing. The same system that makes a real espresso and freshly brewed filter coffee from some of your favorite U.S. and European brands, also makes real milk-based latte & cappuccino, cafe crema, tea, hot chocolate – something for everyone. Each cup is freshly brewed to celebrate its true character and gives you the taste you love, every time.

New features in the TASSIMO T65 Brewer Include:
*Convenient operation -- The multilingual LCD display provides user-friendly visual and linguistic instructions.

*Everything in view -- The cup-stand illuminates cup while brewing.

*Drink strength may be customized to suit individual tastes and virtually no pre-heat time is required. It is designed to accommodate most cup sizes, travel mugs, and glasses.

*The included Mavea water filter improves flavor and aroma of beverages while extending the life of the machine by reducing lime and scale.
                             A Little Bit About TASSIMO T DISC'S
The ingenious TASSIMO Disc (T DISC) is designed to work exclusively with the TASSIMO system. Each T DISC contains a precisely measured amount of coffee, tea, chocolate or concentrated milk, and is sealed to protect the precious flavors inside. When you insert the T DISC, the system reads the bar code printed on the label. It automatically calculates the amount of water needed, brewing time, and temperature to prepare the perfect beverage. All the brewing happens inside the T DISC using a unique inverse flow. Your beverage pours directly from T DISC into the cup so you can prepare different drinks, one after the other.
Our Experience with the TASSIMO T65 Home Brewing System
I am a total coffee freak (for lack of a better term). Though I fell in love with coffee long before I was a mother; that love was only further intensified after I had children, as it now serves a much greater purpose! Having experienced (and fallen hard for) great coffee house coffee's, namely Starbucks, during my college days;  I am always disappointed with the lack of authentic flavor when trying to brew coffee house brand coffee's at home.  This is why the TASSIMO T65 has now become my absolute FAVORITE appliance of all time! Let me explain further....

When the TASSIMO T65 home brewing system arrived, my joy could barely be contained. I rushed to the kitchen to set it up immediately. Set up was quick and simple with the included instructions; ready to brew within a matter of minutes. My first experiment? I brewed a Latte ( and iced it for a yummy cool treat on an unbelievably hot day). The milk T DISC steamed quickly (I was thoroughly impressed with the speed), I then brewed the espresso disc, and wallah, coffeehouse coffee in my little kitchen, in the matter of a couple minutes!

The real test came with my brand of choice, the aforementioned Starbucks. I placed the T Disc in, with a moment of flashbacks of my previous failed attempts to replicate the intoxicating perfection that is Starbucks (coffee officianato's you know of which I am referring). In about a minute it was finished, I added milk, and took a sip, um......blew my mind.....EXACT. PERFECT. AMAZING! There's no longer a need to stumble out of bed and make a b-line for the corner coffee shop in the morning ( and afternoon, mid-afternoon, evening, night, late-night...hey I'm a MOM, caffeine is a close friend of mine ;) instead I will stay close(seriously my husband jokes that he now runs close second to the TASSIMO in our house ;) to home and brew coffeehouse goodness in the privacy and comfort of my own kitchen! Friends Welcome!
