My Experience
Plow and Hearth has become one of my absolute favorite home stores! They offer incredible accents and furnishings for the home; including some amazing exclusive items that you can only find with them. After browsing through their site (and making the longest EVER mental wish list) I stumbled across the America Wreath (pictured above). I knew that it would be perfect for our front door (which is under our covered porch and has a screen door~as suggested in the care instructions). We live in a very old historic house (our home was actually the original home built on our block in the mid 1900's) and with the colonial blue shutter's, the wreath matches the outside decor perfectly.

The Vintage Pearl creates unique and meaningful handstamped jewelry and keepsakes. Each piece is handcrafted from start to finish with care in our studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We use raw sterling silver, freshwater pearls and birthstone crystals in our creations. Each letter is individually stamped by hand, we do not use a machine, making every piece a true one-of-a-kind!

My Experience
My children are my world...... and I feel so incredibly blessed to be a mom. For a long time I've been on the lookout for a unique piece of jewlry that I could customize with my children's names, though I could never really find something that fit my tastes......that is until I ran across the gorgeous creations from The Vintage Pearl! With a large selection of customizable jewelry and keepsakes, the Layered Mother of Pearl Necklace (pictured above) immediately caught my eye.
The Vintage Pearl was very kind in working with me to not only customize the first disk with my children's names, they also stamped a personal message on the second disk; "........the sunshine in my soul". If you know me well, you know I have often referred to my little one's as "the sunshine in my soul" so it was incredibly wonderful and special when they were able to customize the piece with both their names and the quote!
I was blown away by the friendly service and fast delivery of my beautiful necklace, it's simply stunning in person (the mother of pearl is so pretty and adds the perfect touch). The Layered Mother of Pearl Necklace is now one of my most treasured pieces of jewelry. I have to add that I LOVE the way that they package the jewerly (arriving in a beautiful box with a signature robins egg blue ribbon, adorned with a pearl and monogramed silver charm )....it's gift ready upon arrival! They also go the extra mile including care instructions, and a jewelry cleaning cloth......the little touches were very appreciated (I love to shop at establishment's that clearly appreciate their customers, don't you?!).

Our Experience
The kids had only had the chance to check out some of the preview clips from Timmy Time on other DVDs that we have, so they were overjoyed to have the opportunity to take a look at Timmy Time: Timmy Steals the Show (Released on DVD yesterday, February 22). The bright colors and adorable character's immediately caught their attention! They watched Timmy and his friends as they showcased their talents, and learned the importance of being kind and good to other's. The delightful character's are young, and like most little one's they make some mistakes along the way and are learning through their experiences.
As a parent, I really enjoyed that as they were watching these adorable character's they were learning important lessons. It's good to know that when they sit down to enjoy an episode of Timmy Time that the message that they are receiving is thoughtfully conveying the importance of good values and manners. Timmy Time was a fast favorite in our home!
Overall, Timmy Time Steals the Show is an fun and adorable collection of Timmy Time Episodes that will become fast favorites for your little ones!

Our Experience
With a gorgeous color pallet and beautiful designs, the 2011 Spring collection by tea offers both fun functional clothing for babies, children, and women. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to check out the Barcelona Graphic Tee (pictured above left) and the Artista Wrap Dress (pictured above right). B loves the Barcelona Tee (it immediately put him in the mood for summer...asking does it start tomorrow?! ;), and the princess was absolutely overjoyed with the Artista Wrap Dress.....she loves to twirl around the room in it. I was taken back by the exceptional quality of tea's clothing, and I love the projection of beautiful destination's brought to life in their clothing collections. With a pleasant lively atmosphere, Chili's has been a favorite restaurant of ours since DH and I were in college. We have had so many pleasant visits to Chili's, so we were excited to check out their new Wild or Mild menu with the kiddo's and some other family member's!
We were greeted as usual with a very friendly waitress who promptly supplied the kiddo's with some crayon's and coloring sheets, then took our drink and appetizer order's ( we settled on two orders of the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla's for the table to share (pictured above). The Bacon Ranch Quesadilla's (a "mild" choice on the menu) were absolutely delicious (served with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream on the side), and were a HUGE hit with everyone at the table (including the kid's who tend to be a bit picky)!
We all chose something different for our entrees (B and the princess went with the Chicken finger's and fries)...I settled on the Barbecue Chicken Salad (pictured below), which was equally delicious! The salad is tossed lightly in dressing, with veggies and topped with grilled barbecue chicken......the salad is then drizzled with Barbecue sauce.....seriously good stuff!
Dh went with the Classic Bacon Burger (Pictured below) and loved it! No, I really mean it..... he LOVED IT! The man is serious about food, and says that Chili's makes the best Bacon Cheeseburger that he's ever had! We all had a fabulous time! Spending time with family at Chili's is always fun, and always good idea!

I can not believe that 15 weeks have gone by already, time really does fly! We are finally beginning a slow "thaw out" here in the N.E. part of the country, so I've had a few prime opportunities to get outside and really moving this week (thank the weather God's! Seriously, we've all had a serious case of cabin fever in our house! ). With a little extra exercise and sunshine, I'm happy to report that I was able to shed 3 pounds!
I have really been enjoying the Nutrisystem Select frozen food options, and who wouldn't want to end the day with a delicious Caramel Ice Cream Sundae?! I love that there are so many different food options, the variety really helps to keep me on track with my weight loss, and I never feel like I'm missing out!
The forecast looks promising this week so I will definitely be out and about getting some much needed exercise! Between the first time I was on the program & the past 15 weeks, I've lost a total of 47 pounds!!

My Experience
I am an avid reader, and have been for a long time. I love to immerse myself in a new novel, to discover new places, and learn more about the great people in our world.....it's a definite passion of mine! I have been intrigued by the Amazon Kindle for sometime now, and now that I've had the chance to use the Amazon Kindle.....I'm in LOVE! With a crystal clear display that that actually looks like a paper book (seriously, I did a double take when I took it out of the box and turned it on!), I was immediately hooked!
I have to admit, I was skeptical for a long time about e reader's. I love the feel of a book in my hands, and was a little fearful that it would be like reading my computer screen (as much as I use and appreciate my computer- the harsh back light of the HD screen is not something that my eyes tolerate well). Those fears were squelched immediately upon seeing the Kindle Screen and it' pleasant page display!
So that I would have some point of comparison, I went to a big box store to check out a few other brands as well. The Kindle, DEFINITELY. HANDS. DOWN. IS. THE. BEST! There is no comparison when it comes to the "Pearl" E Ink that is used for the Kindles display! After experiencing the other brands (and while they were OK) the HD Screens immediately scream COMPUTER (and personally hurt my eyes).
Aside from the incredible display (really, I could go on and on and on...you'll understand when you see it for yourself!) there are so many convenient features! I love that you can increase the size of the text (sometimes my eyes are tired and I prefer much larger text so that I don't have to strain to see), and the text to speech feature allows you to listen to the book (great for when I'm on the go, in the car, or exercising!).
I really enjoy that I can browse the selection on Amazon directly from the Kindle, and within a minute of purchasing a title, it's available for me to read in my library! After browsing through the various titles, I chose a few books (one that I had in hardback and had purchased a few weeks ago for $35, was only $9.99 on Kindle! So, the savings are well worth it!) to start my Kindle "library". I also now receive the New York Times (delivered daily to the Kindle automatically) and The New Yorker on the Kindle. Subscriptions available on Kindle are not only convenient and money saving, they also offer many with trial periods (between 2 weeks-2 month FREE Trials are available for many subscriptions).
Another feature that I love? When reading not only can I bookmark my place when I done reading for the day but if I forget to bookmark my page, the Kindle will automatically open to the page that I left off at the next time I open that title!

Arriving packaged in a beautiful box (pictured below) which could be gift ready by simply adding a ribbon.......I was truly impressed by the amazing quality!
