Our Experience
There are some brands that, as a parent, you come to know and trust. Little Tikes is one of those brands in our home. If you were to enter our playroom, or scan our backyard it's clearly visible which toys are durable and which aren't. Many of our Little Tikes toys have withstood years and years of rigorous play, and still have MANY years worth of play left in them, still!
We recently had a chance to check out a new twist on an old favorite; the Little Tikes Cozy Truck!
Spacious, and packed with features, I knew immediately that this toy held the potential to become a fast favorite. We love the friendly inviting face on the "grill" of the Cozy Truck, it's just so darn cute! The princess enjoys packing up the flatbed with her stuffed animals and taking them for a quick zip down the back path in our yard (the slight decline allows for her to gain slight momentum which invokes some serious laughter from the chickie as she cruises down the path!). The working horn (battery operated), open/close "gas cap", and built in handle in the roof (allowing parents to push younger children easily without having to bend or stoop) all help to make the Cozy Truck the ultimate Spring/Summer active imaginative toy for children 1 1/2 yrs - 5 yrs old.

When it comes to shopping for clothing for both of my children, I always have a hard time finding the time to get to the store. When I do (on the off chance) find a few hours to make it to the mall, I'm never incredibly impressed with the "cookie cutter" ensembles that await me at the department stores. So, over the past year or so, I have taken to the Internet (from the comfort of my own home~often pj clad and cup of tea in hand) to do the majority of the clothing shopping for our family.
Recently while browsing online I came across Crab Apple Kids. With an absolutely adorable selection of baby clothing, Christening Gowns, and Children's Clothing for both boys and girls; the pricing and selection available at Crab Apple Kids is EXCEPTIONAL to say the very least! The Ann Loren Collection in particular caught my eye as they offer precious matching outfits for American Girl Dolls (if there's anything that the princess loves more than the color pink....it's her American Girl Dolls!). The princess reacted in utter (overly animated) delight when the Ann Loren Leopard Capri Set (pictured above) arrived. She had to (like needed to ) try it right on!
I love that the outfit is stylish and dressy, yet offers an everyday-wearable comfort, that I (and the princess) can definitely appreciate.While she loves to be "fashion"(translate: fashionable) as she says (oh' how I love to view the world through the eyes of a toddler)...she also refuses to sacrifice comfort (the princess has the tendency to disregard anything that has the potential for discomfort).Beautiful, girly, and comfortable, this Ann Loren outfit has become a fast favorite in the princess' wardrobe.....she has requested (not so subtly and repeatedly) a matching outfit for her American Girl Kanani Doll for Easter (along with another outfit for herself of course; and maybe another matching outfit for her American Girl!).
Our experience with Crab Apple Kids couldn't have been any better! Delightful selection, friendly service, and amazing prices.....could a parent ask for any more?!

Designer and colorful entrepreneur Laura Angotti established Rowdy Sprout in 2003. Our Experience
One of my fondest memories from when I was younger is of when my brother first introduced me to "The Beatles". After listening to just a few songs......I had found what till this day, is one of my absolute favorite bands! Trying to instill some passion for the musical "greats" in my kiddo's, The Beatles have been on a frequently heard play list in our home since they were very little.....and have now also become one of their favorites. Our Experience
I can hardly believe that Easter is just around the corner. While Winter felt like it dragged on forever here in the Northeast part of the country, it's still hard to believe that Spring is already upon us. Our Experience
The kid's (and us) absolutely LOVED Tangled in the Theater! We have been hearing a steady stream of "can we get it on DVD" since the day we took them to see it....so you can only imagine their delight when we received the Tangled Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack the other day. We had an impromptu movie night early in the week as they couldn't wait till Friday, they NEEDED to watch it right away! I quickly remembered why this film was such a hit; the animation is simply breathtaking. With a beautiful storyline reminiscent of the classic story Rapunzel, it captivated all of our attention (once again) as we watched the beautiful girl discover life outside of her tower with her unlikely hero, Flynn. As the two set off on a Journey to view the mysterious lanterns that are released every year on Rapunzel's Birthday, the pure adventure kept the kids totally engaged in the movie. Our Experience
We LOVE spending time together watching movies, and our new favorite thing to do is watch many of our favorite television series on Netflix by streaming them wirelessly to our Samsung 3D Wi-Fi Blu-ray Disc Player! This player offers amazing picture quality for an AMAZING home entertainment EXPERIENCE! What I really am appreciated in is the upconvert feature, which makes the brilliance of the picture quality on DVD'S even better; simply with this great built-in feature! We have been enjoying family movie nights so much more with this great new addition to our home theater.
Moving into the next big thing in home entertainment, the Samsung 3D Wi-Fi Blu-ray player offers the capability to play 3D movies when paired with a 3D HDTV. Although we do not currently own one, I'm sure my husband will be purchasing one by the end of the year (he's a bit of a gadget lover, and must have all things current when it comes to electronics). We're looking forward to watching 3D movies with the kiddo's in the comfort of our own home very soon. As a family I think we all enjoy watching movies together at home far better than going out to the movie theater! Endless concessions minus the high cost, the ability to pause it for little ones who may not be able to sit straight through the movie.....it's just an all around BETTER experience!

Our Experience
I am not a huge fan of fast food. There are many reasons, and amongst them? The fact that they are not as healthy (and for some reason three quarters of it tends to end up on the floor or the seat when we're eating while on the go in the car). Although we've tried to pack lunch to bring along with us while we're out or on long car trips - the fast melting ice packs and subsequent warm sandwiches are usually off putting enough to just forget the idea all together.
I was intrigued to see if the new PackIt Cooler would preserve food as long as it says it does. So when I received it I popped it in the freezer (the cooling element is in the bag itself; no cold pack required!) and packed it with a sandwich and a yogurt.....then left it out of the counter in our kitchen for 8 hrs to test it out (with the cold winter temps I wanted to accurately test it in a warm climate). After the time had passed I opened the bag to find that the food was nearly as cold as it was when I took it out of the refrigerator earlier in the day! I'm excited to take the PackIt along on day trips this Spring/Summer! It will also come in handy when I'm out running errands with the kids; instead of purchasing fast food I can bring some healthy options along with us without worrying that the food will go bad or warm while we're out.

Our Experience
