The Ultimate Block Party : Central Park, NYC

(Play Video for A Little Bit About The Ultimate Block Party)

We were so excited last Sunday to attend The Ultimate Block Party! We strolled through Central Park, and finally happened upon what the kiddo's had been anticipating for the past couple weeks.....The Ultimate Block Party (Entrance to The Ultimate Block Party NYC Pictured Below)!
With our "Play Books" in hand  (a book that each attendee was given at the entrance that outlined the activities / booths - children could have their book stamped at each station ) we were ready to party! B was excited to see the Radio Disney Booth, and hear some of his favorite tunes as we walked around. The princess was more enthralled with the clowns (pictured below) from "Clowns Without Borders USA"
Entertaining little one's, and engaging their attention with impromptu performances.... they captivated my little one's attention and she's been talking about them all week!

B got to take a look at the RIDE MAKERZ Booth - where boy's and girls of all ages were experiencing creativity through the design and construction of these unique remote control vehicles. I love the concept that this company has put into action!  As a mom,  I've found that there aren't many companies that are specifically geared towards little boy's interests that allow them to explore and create in such a way! Really neat stuff.....I would definitely recommend RIDE MAKERZ as a Holiday Gift this season!

Some of the Activities from the Day Included:
~RIDE MAKERZ Rally Race Quest
~Imagination Playground
~Pop-Up Adventure Playground (New York Coalition for Play)
~ Sidewalk Games (Playworks)
~New York's Largest Simon Says (Sprout & The Goddard School)
~Mary Poppins on Broadway "Newsstand"
~CMOM's Brain At Play
~Crayola Imagination Zone
~Sesame Street Sing-A-Long
~The Electric Company Sing-A-Long
(Just to name a few)

Amongst what looked to be a crowd of thousands......children and adults alike played the day away; all while learning key concepts that are pivotal to our children's development. It was a Great day!
