10 Minute Hot Caprese Dip


Love Caprese salad? This 10 Minute Hot Caprese Dip, combines all of the flavors of Caprese salad into a perfectly lovely hot dip, and it comes together super quick, which is always my kinda' recipe!

Hi friends, how have you been? We're all still reeling from the flu here {I'm officially waving my white flag! It's B.A.D., folks!} BUT, we're still gearing up for the big game, and as always, I plan to bring my A-game with the food and snacks. This Hot Caprese Dip is currently at the top of my snack menu for our Superbowl party. If you're looking for a delicious hot dip to serve up on game-day, this 10 Minute Hot Caprese Dip is always a crowd-pleaser.  Serve it up alongside crackers or pita chips, and you're set!

10 Minute Hot Caprese Dip Recipe

Recipe serves: 4-6 people
Prep time: 5 minutes 
Cook time: 10 minutes

What you'll need:
  • 2 qt. Broiler-safe baking dish
  • 1 8oz package of cream cheese (softened & cubed)
  • 1 c. ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella
  • 5 tbsp basil pesto
  • 1/2 c. diced tomatoes
  • Crackers or pita chips for dipping
How to:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F.) 
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine (1) 8 oz pack of cream cheese (softened and cubed), 1 c. ricotta cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, 3 tbsp. basil pesto.
  3. Add mixture to a 2 qt. broiler-safe baking dish. T
  4. op with 1/2 c. diced tomatoes
  5. Dot top with 2 tbsp. basil pesto. 
  6. Top with 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes.
  8. Broil for remaining 2 minutes (until cheese is bubbly/brown around the edges.)
  9. Serve with crackers or pita chips, for dipping.

  2. Is basil pesto something I find right in with the spices? I know I have seen lain basil there. This sure looks good, thanks for sharing.
