The holiday season is a time for making memories with family. Each year there are a few key things that signal the holiday season in our home; one of them is the addition of two new ornaments to our collection.
Every year we give each of our children the opportunity to select a new ornament for the tree. We then add the year to the back of the ornament [with a silver permanent marker] for our own recollection in years to come.
Each year when we pull out our box of Christmas ornaments, the entire family enjoys recounting each years' selection. For example, our son was super obsessed with Cookie Monster when he was 2 years old, and the GIANT Cookie Monster ornament that he selected that year reflects his love for the big blue cookie-lovin' monster, perfectly!
This year we are continuing our tradition with two new gorgeous ornaments, by Lenox. Our daughter chose the Periwinkle Snowy Wish Ornament [pictured above]; she [as does the entire family] absolutely adores the newest Fairy film from Disney, Secret of The Wings! Our son chose the Personalized
Disney's Mickey Baseball Ornament by Lenox [pictured below] which perfectly captures his new found love of Baseball!
This is a cherished family tradition for our family; a Christmas tree, decorated with memories.
