Helping to mark the 80th birthday of the world-famous pachyderm with impeccable style, the open-to-the-public “Tea Time with Babar” events will offer an afternoon full of fun and holiday cheer – complete with snacks and goodies for fans of all ages.

Who: The world’s most famous elephant, Babar!
What: Tea Time with Babar! Children, families and Babar fans of all ages are invited to be part of a very special Babar Tea Time celebration at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée. Attending children will get to exercise their creative side and partake in a coloring contest that awards the winner with a special Babar book autographed by author/illustrator Laurent de Brunhoff!! Participants also can have their photo taken with Babar on-site, and enjoy delicious tea time snacks and drinks! In addition, children at the event will each take home a special goodie bag – complete with an adorable Babar plush and Babar book!
What Else: To help deck the halls – Babar style! – and continue the celebration of the beloved brand’s 80th anniversary throughout the holiday season, Hôtel Plaza Athénée will prominently display a one-of-a-kind Babar-themed Christmas tree featuring more than one hundred Babar plush toys!
