Yarn Wrapped Bunny Napkin Rings How-To:

What you'll need:
  • safety scissors
  • craft glue
  • up-cycled cardboard paper towel tubes (cut down into 4 equal pieces /into about 4" sections)
  • white yarn
  • white felt
  • pink felt
  • black felt
How to:
  1. Start by cutting down the up-cycled cardboard paper towel tubes into 4 equal pieces / about 4" sections.)
  2. Next, cut out all of the felt pieces for each yarn wrapped bunny napkin ring. 2 black felt eyes, 2 white felt ear pieces, 2 pink felt inner ear pieces (slightly smaller than the white felt ear pieces), and 1 pink felt nose piece (each.)
  3. Cut a small slit into one of the cardboard rings / forms (refer to imagery below.) Knot one end of the white yarn. Slide the yarn (knot positioned on the inside of the cardboard ring/form.) Once secure begin wrapping the yarn around the form (from the inside out.) until the entire ring/form is covered. Tie the end of the yarn off in a knot (with the knot positioned on the inside of the napkin ring.)
  4. Using craft glue, glue the pink felt inner ear pieces over top of the white ear pieces. Allow adequate time for drying. Once dry, affix the bunny ears using craft glue (just inside the napkin ring.) Next, cut a small bundle of white yarn (about 3 pieces) to about 1" (to create the whiskers for the bunny) - position them on the front center of the napkin ring, then use a generous dab of craft glue over top. Now, add the pink felt nose piece over top of the glue. Hold in place for a minute or two.
  5. To complete your yarn wrapped bunny napkin ring, using craft glue, affix two black felt eyes just above the pink felt nose piece / whiskers. Allow adequate time for the glue to set/dry. Repeat steps 3-5 to complete each of your yarn wrapped bunny napkin rings.
  6. Display a pretty patterned / seasonal / Easter themed napkin in each of your completed yarn wrapped bunny napkin rings, on your Easter table. Enjoy!

Happy crafting, friends!
