Plan A Night Out With The Brooklyn Nets On Family 4 Pack Game Nights

Have you ever been inside the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn? The facility is pretty amazing and it's incredibly family friendly.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of attending a Brooklyn Nets game on a Family 4 Pack game night, and we all had a blast!

Parents, if you're looking to take the entire family out to a game, this is definitely the way to go. When purchasing a family 4 pack of tickets, you'll receive a $15 food credit (per ticket) AND a t-shirt. Concessions and a souvenir? Pretty great deal, right?! If you're a parent, then you most likely know that these are things that can really add up when attending events with the entire family.

Having navigated the arena with my entire family (and some extended family members) in tow, these are my tips + some information that's great to know, when planning your night out with the Brooklyn Nets:

  • First, choose your game, the family 4 pack deal is available for select games, CLICK HERE to view available games. NOTE: the list of available games will update every few weeks through April 13, 2016. So, if you don't see a game that you'd like to attend on the list now, be sure to check back!
  • Do you have picky eater's? Me too! Allergies are also a concern in our home. Never fear though! There's literally something for everyone inside the Barclays Center. The arena has brought the iconic flavors of Brooklyn to game goer's with an impressive selection of local vendors.  You'll find iconic borough favorites such as, Juniors, Paisanos The Butcher Burger, Calexico, David's K Deli, Brooklyn Bangers, Habana, and Williamsburg Pizza.
  • Have a smaller child? If you're like me and you have a toddler in the house, don't worry about missing out on all the fun when your toddler calls time! My toddler {understandably} lost patience with sitting, so we took a walk.  He was entertained from the comfort of his stroller by the hustle and bustle on the main concourse, and I was pleasantly surprised with the design of the arena. The smart layout of the Barclays Center allows for a view of the scoreboard at various points throughout the main concourse, and there's even an area where you can see the full court! Just beyond the main entrance, I found an area (where the sound board / DJ is located - see image below) where I was able to stand and spectate.  The view was pretty great too. I took the pictures below from this spot where I stood with my fussy toddler for a portion of the game. NOTE: If you're attending the game with smaller children, strollers are not permitted in the seating area, due to obvious safety hazards. However, if necessary, you can bring your stroller along and easily check it at the Main Brooklyn Marriott Guest Services Center. Strollers are allowed in suites.

Overall, it was a great experience. We had a fabulous time making family memories that will surely last a lifetime! As an added bonus, the Nets won the game that night too!
